Robert Boydstun has 30 years of litigation experience in which he has represented plaintiffs in Personal Injury cases.  He has also represented defendants who were being sued in personal injury cases.  As a result, he fully understand the strategies of plaintiffs' counsel, defense counsel and insurers.  He uses this knowledge to his clients' advantage.  He developed considerable experience handling cases involving lead poisoning, toxic mold exposure, asbestos, solvent exposure and other toxic torts.  He has litigated insurance issues, partnership disputes and undertaken many appeals.  In 2000, after many years of effective litigation, Robert Boydstun recognized that he could help his clients avoid costly and complicated litigation by shifting the focus of his work to preemptive efforts like developing life plans, wills, and estate planning.  Through these efforts, clients are able to protect themselves and their loved-ones for the future.  He established his own firm, the Law Office of Robert L. Boydstun. Elder Law, Estate Planning and Probate and Estate Administration were added as practice areas.  In 2007, he moved his law firm to White Plains, New York.  The firm continues to accept significant personal injury cases, insurance defense matters, other civil litigation  and appeals.
