Mr. Boydstun has more than 30 years experience practicing law.  He began his career as an associate in a plaintiff's personal injury firm working under the direct supervision of a seasoned trial attorney.  After almost three years of learning the intricacies of a personal injury practice, he moved on to an insurance defense firm.  There he was retained by insurance companies to represent their policyholders in personal injury actions  in  which they were being sued.  He has experience litigating a large variety of cases, many with very significant injuries and damages. He has a proven track record in cases involving exposure to toxic substances, including lead paint, mold, petro-chemicals and asbestos. Mr. Boydstun is also well versed in product liability matters and was involved in major litigation over the pregnancy drug DES as well as litigation involving tampon manufacturers for toxic shock syndrome. Mr. Boydstun has successfully perfected and argued many civil appeals.  In 2000 he added Elder Law, Estate Planning, Probate and Estate Administration to his practice areas.

Mr. Boydstun believes the practice of law offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the community. Whether he is preparing Family Protection Plans for his clients or litigating on their behalf, Mr. Boydstun utilizes decades of experience to efficiently solve his clients' legal needs.  He has found that providing his clients with informed personal service not only allows his clients to have a more influential position in the legal process but also results in a better outcome of their matters.

Mr. Boydstun is admitted to practice in the courts of the State of New York, as well as in the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. He is also admitted to the United States Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit. He is a member of the American Bar Association, the New York State Bar Association and the New York County Lawyers Association.
